Stir-Fried Long Beans with Tempeh and Sausage

Ingredients

Long beans (Kacang panjang) 200 grams
Tempeh (Tempe) 100 grams
Sausage (Baso) 2 pieces
Red onion (Bawang merah) 2, finely sliced
Garlic (Bawang putih) 3 cloves, minced
Curly red chili (Cabe merah kriting) 2, sliced
Bird’s eye chili (Cabe rawit) 1, sliced
Oyster sauce (Saos tiram) 2 tablespoons
Salt To taste
Sugar To taste
Seasoning powder (Bumbu penyedap) To taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté Aromatics: In a large skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add the sliced red onion, minced garlic, and both types of chili. Sauté until fragrant and the onions are translucent.

  2. Add Long Beans: Incorporate the long beans into the skillet, followed by a splash of water and the oyster sauce. Stir well to combine and allow the beans to cook until they are tender yet still crisp.

  3. Incorporate Tempeh and Sausage: Add the cubed tempeh and sliced sausage to the pan. Mix thoroughly, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  4. Season: Sprinkle in sugar, salt, and seasoning powder. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed to achieve the desired flavor.
