Taco Crescent Wreath ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿฅ

Description:
This Taco Crescent Wreath is a Tex-Mex delight, bringing a burst of flavor to any gathering. Inspired by the classic veggie pizza, this wreath presentation adds a festive touch, perfect for holiday entertaining. However, if you prefer a more traditional approach, you can simply roll out the crescent rolls for a classic pizza crust. The star of the show is the homemade salsa, adding a fresh and vibrant kick, though a high-quality bottled version will do in a pinch. The chipotle chiles in adobo sauce infuse a tantalizing heat into the creamy layer, and you can adjust the quantity to suit your taste buds. This recipe is adapted from a beloved Pillsbury appetizer cookbook.

Instructions:

Step Instructions
1 Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF.
2 Place an inverted custard cup in the center of an ungreased cookie sheet.
3 Do not unroll the crescent rolls.
4 Slice each log into 20 rounds, making 40 slices in total.
5 Arrange 16 slices in a slightly overlapping, clockwise direction around the custard cup.
6 Arrange the remaining slices in a counterclockwise direction, close to but not overlapping the first ring.
7 Carefully remove the custard cup from the center of the wreath.
8 Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until light golden brown.
9 Gently loosen the wreath from the cookie sheet and cool on a wire rack for about 30 minutes, or until completely cooled.

11 Place the cooled wreath on a serving tray or platter.
12 Spread the sour cream mixture evenly over the wreath.
13 Decorate with sliced olives, diced avocado tossed in lime juice, chopped tomato, and shredded cheddar cheese.

15 Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
