🕒 Total Time: 20 minutes
🥣 Servings: 6

Description: Found this recipe on the Fondue Factory. I got the idea from Canarygirl to do a fondue dinner for my husband. I decided to go all out and do an appetizer (this one), a main course with oil, and of course a chocolate dessert one. This cheese recipe was awesome!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups American cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup beer

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Swiss cheese, American cheese, cornstarch, and dry mustard.

  2. Toss the mixture to coat evenly.

  3. Add the Worcestershire sauce and mix well to incorporate.

  4. In a saucepan or fondue pot (electric fondue pots work well), heat the beer until warm over medium heat.

  5. Over medium-low heat, gradually add the cheese mixture to the warm beer, stirring constantly until the cheese has melted completely.

  6. If using a saucepan, transfer the melted cheese to a fondue pot and keep warm over a fondue burner.

  7. If using an electric fondue pot, set it to the warm setting to keep the cheese melted.

  8. Serve the cheese fondue with bread, pretzels, or breadsticks for dipping.

Enjoy your cheesy delight with family and friends! 🧀🥖🥨
