Instructions:
Step | Description |
---|---|
| In a large pot, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. |
| Add the chicken thighs to the boiling water and cook until done, ensuring the juice runs clear when poked. |
| Remove the cooked chicken thighs from the pot and place them in a separate dish. |
| To the pot of boiling water, add diced celery, green peas, sliced carrots, and white wine. |
| Allow the mixture to return to a boil. |
| Pinch off small pieces of the refrigerated biscuit dough and drop them into the boiling water. |
| Stir the mixture gently to separate the biscuit pieces. |
| Let the mixture boil for a couple of minutes, then add the cans of cream of chicken and cream of celery soup. |
| Stir until the soup is mostly dissolved into the mixture. |
| The boiling may slow down after adding the soups, so allow it to return to a rapid boil. |
| Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dumplings reach your desired texture. |
| Tear the cooked chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and return them to the pot. |
| Stir the mixture well to incorporate the chicken pieces. |
