Ingredients:
- 2 salmon steaks
- 1 lime
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 onion
- 3 potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 small head of broccoli
- 1 cup ready-made bolognese sauce
- Sweet soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Black pepper
- Sugar
- Salt
Instructions:
-
Marinate the Salmon:
Begin by marinating the salmon steaks with the juice of one lime, finely chopped garlic, and a pinch of salt. Let them sit for 15 minutes to absorb the flavors. -
Prepare the Vegetables:
- Slice the potatoes into wedges.
- Wash and cut the broccoli into florets and peel and slice the carrots.
- Boil the potatoes, broccoli, and carrots separately until tender. Drain and set aside.
-
Sauté the Carrots:
In a pan, sauté the finely chopped onions until fragrant. Add the boiled carrots, seasoning with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and sugar. Stir well and set aside. -
Fry the Potatoes:
Fry the potato wedges in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside. -
Prepare the Sauce:
In a separate pan, sauté minced garlic until aromatic. Add the bolognese sauce, a splash of sweet soy sauce, and a dash of black pepper. Adjust the seasoning to taste. -
Grill the Salmon:
Prepare a basting mixture using black pepper, sweet soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle and grill the salmon steaks. When they are halfway cooked, brush them with the basting mixture and continue grilling until fully cooked. -
Assemble and Serve:
Arrange the cooked salmon steaks and vegetable medley on plates. Drizzle with the savory bolognese sauce and serve immediately.
This recipe combines the rich flavors of marinated salmon with a colorful array of vegetables and a delicious bolognese sauce, creating a hearty and satisfying meal perfect for any occasion.
