Grilled Salmon with Barbecue Sauce
This Grilled Salmon with Barbecue Sauce is a delightful and flavorful dish that combines tender, marinated salmon with a medley of perfectly cooked vegetables. Ideal for a quick and satisfying meal, this recipe is easy to prepare and packed with taste.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of salmon fillet (cut according to preference)
- 4 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- 100 grams broccoli florets
- 100 grams carrots, cut into thin strips
- 100 grams potatoes, boiled
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
-
Marinate the Salmon:
- Cut the salmon fillet into your desired size. Coat it thoroughly with barbecue sauce. For best results, allow the salmon to marinate for at least 2 hours. Store it in the refrigerator, covered, during this time to let the flavors infuse.
-
Prepare the Vegetables:
- Boil the potatoes until tender. In the same pot, add the carrots and cook until softened. Add the broccoli just until the water reaches a boil, then turn off the heat. Drain the vegetables and set them aside.
-
Grill the Salmon:
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted, place the marinated salmon in the skillet. Grill each side for approximately 7 minutes. Be cautious not to overcook the salmon, as it can become dry and tough.
-
Finish the Vegetables:
- In a bowl, mix the boiled vegetables with olive oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Sprinkle with dried parsley and toss until evenly coated.
-
Serve:
- Arrange the grilled salmon on a serving plate. Serve alongside the vegetable mix.
Enjoy this delicious and wholesome meal that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner or a casual gathering with friends and family!
