Grilled Salmon with Broccoli


Ingredients

Salmon fillet 1 piece (about 100 grams)
Broccoli head 1 large
Garlic cloves 2, finely minced
Lime wedge ½ slice
Olive oil 2 tablespoons
Chili powder To taste
Soy sauce 3 teaspoons
Honey 1 tablespoon
Black pepper To taste

Instructions

Step Description
1 Crush and finely mince the garlic cloves.
2 In a bowl, mix together the minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, honey, and chili powder until well combined.
3 Place the salmon fillet in the bowl with the marinade. Cover the bowl, gently shake to coat the salmon evenly, and let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
4 While the salmon marinates, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and blanch the broccoli until it’s tender but crisp. Drain and set aside.
5 Heat a non-stick pan over low heat and add a bit of olive oil.
6 Grill the marinated salmon in the pan, turning carefully until the fish is fully cooked and golden.
7 Plate the salmon with warm rice and broccoli, seasoned with black pepper and a squeeze of lime juice. Enjoy!

Serve with warm rice for a balanced meal!
