Mexican Tomato Salsa

Fresh chili peppers 4

White onions 100g
Coriander (cilantro) 15g
Sugar 1 teaspoon
Salt To taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the onion: Begin by peeling and finely chopping the white onion. Place it into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add lime zest and juice: Zest the lime and add the zest to the bowl, followed by the juice of the lime. Mix well.
  3. Chop the tomatoes: Wash and chop the ripe tomatoes into small cubes, then add them to the mixing bowl with the onion and lime mixture.
  4. Prepare the coriander: Wash and dry the coriander (cilantro). Finely chop the leaves and add them to the bowl.
  5. Handle the chili peppers: Wash the fresh chili peppers, slice them open, and remove the seeds. Finely chop the peppers and add them to the mixture.
  6. Season: Add the sugar and salt to taste. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  7. Chill and serve: Let the salsa sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled alongside your favorite Mexican dishes or as a dip with chips.
