Ingredients:

Quantity Ingredient
2 Ground beef
5 Eggs
3 Jeera powder
1/2 Cumin powder
1 1/2 Coriander powder
1/4 Turmeric powder
2 Chili powder
Salt
1/2 Garam masala
5 Potatoes
Ghee
Ginger garlic paste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ground Meat:

    • Place the ground meat in a pan and add in the ginger garlic paste, chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric, and salt. Mix everything well.
  2. Cook the Meat:

    • Add ½ cup of water to the mixture and cook until the meat is tender and fully cooked.
  3. Blend the Mixture:

    • Allow the cooked meat mixture to cool down.
    • Transfer the mixture into a blender or grinder and blend it into a fine paste. The consistency should be such that you can easily form balls from the mixture.
    • Add an egg while blending to bind the mixture together.
  4. Prepare the Potato Mixture:

    • Boil the potatoes until they are soft and mash them well.
    • Season the mashed potatoes with salt and keep them aside.
  5. Assemble the Cutlets:

    • Take portions of the mashed potato mixture and form them into 3-inch balls.
    • Flatten each potato ball into a disc.
    • Place a ground meatball in the center of each potato disc.
    • Carefully cover the meatball with the potato mixture, shaping it into a round cutlet.
  6. Coat and Fry:

    • In a separate bowl, beat the remaining eggs and season with salt.
    • Dip each prepared cutlet into the egg mixture, ensuring it is well-coated.
    • Next, coat the cutlet with breadcrumbs, shaking off any excess.
    • Heat a pan with ghee or oil over medium heat.
    • Fry the cutlets until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  7. Serve and Enjoy:

    • Once done, remove the cutlets from the pan and drain excess oil on paper towels.
    • Serve these piping hot cutlets with your favorite chutney or dipping sauce.

These Indian Mince Cutlets are perfect as appetizers for parties or as a comforting snack on a cozy evening at home. The blend of spices, tender meat, and creamy potatoes will surely make these cutlets a favorite in your household! 😋👌
