11 | Pour the hot sugar syrup into the dal mixture. Add cardamom powder and dissolved saffron. |
12 | Carefully stir the mixture to incorporate the syrup, taking care not to scald your hands. |
13 | Cook the mixture slowly until all the water is absorbed. |
