Ingredients:

Fresh parsley 1
Poultry seasoning 3/4
Canadian bacon 1/3
Carrots 2
Celery rib 1
Onion 1
Water 1/4
Broiler-fryer chickens 1
Flour 1
Pimientos 1
Parmesan cheese 2

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix chicken bouillon granules, fresh parsley, and poultry seasoning; set aside.

  2. Layer in the crock pot, in order, Canadian bacon, carrots, celery, and onion.

  3. Add water to the crock pot.

  4. Place the broiler-fryer chickens in the slow cooker.

  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture prepared in step 1 over the chicken.

  6. Stir soup and flour together, then spoon over the top of the chicken and vegetables. DO NOT STIR.

  7. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or on low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is tender and the juices run clear when pierced with a fork, and the vegetables are tender.

  8. Spread cooked noodles in a shallow 2-2 1/2 quart broiler-proof dish.

  9. Arrange the chicken on top of the noodles.

  10. Stir the soup mixture and vegetables until combined, then spoon over the chicken.

  11. Sprinkle with pimientos and Parmesan cheese.

  12. Broil 6 inches from the heat source for 6-8 minutes or until lightly browned.
