Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (for second layer)
- 2 tablespoons vanilla custard powder
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for third layer)
- 2 ounces semisweet chocolate
Instructions:

First Layer:
- Melt the first three ingredients in the top of a double boiler.
- Add the egg and stir to cook and thicken.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Press firmly into an ungreased 8×8 pan.

Second Layer:
- Cream together the 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, cream, custard powder, and icing sugar.
- Spread over the bottom layer.

Third Layer:
- Melt chocolate and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat.
- Cool until it’s still liquid but not hot.
- Pour over the second layer and chill well in the refrigerator.

- Once chilled, cut into bars and serve.
