  • 12 slices of bread
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 teaspoons sage
  • 2/3 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon

Instructions:

1 In a large bowl, combine the bread slices, pepper, and sage. Set aside.

4 In a separate container, slowly stir the chicken bouillon cubes into the boiling water until dissolved.
5 Gradually add the prepared bouillon to the bread mixture, stirring until moistened throughout.
6 Transfer the stuffing into a greased 13 x 9-inch glass pan.
7 Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about one hour, or until the stuffing is golden brown and crispy. 1 hour
8 Stir the stuffing occasionally during baking to pull the crusty bits from the bottom and create more texture.
9 For a softer stuffing, refrain from stirring during baking.
