Crispy Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 pieces of chicken, boiled halfway with salt and garlic
- Ground black pepper (brand Ladaku)
- Salt
- Baking powder (brand Koepoe2)
- Chicken seasoning (Royco Ayam)
- Cornstarch (1 part to 4 parts all-purpose flour)
- All-purpose flour (4 parts to 1 part cornstarch)
- Cooking oil
- 2 eggs (1 egg in a bowl and 1 for mixing with chicken)
Instructions:
-
In a bowl, mix the chicken with 1 tablespoon of baking powder, ground black pepper, salt, and 1 egg. Mix well. (Adjust seasoning to taste. If there’s leftover egg, mix it with the separated egg in a bowl.)
-
In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and chicken seasoning.
-
Coat each piece of chicken thoroughly in the flour mixture, pinching the flour to create a crinkled texture. (This step is crucial for achieving crispy chicken with a textured surface.)
-
Dip each flour-coated chicken piece into the separated egg in the bowl. Repeat this step.
-
Heat cooking oil in a pan. Fry the chicken until golden brown.
-
Crispy Chicken is ready to serve. (I usually serve it with ABC fried chicken chili sauce.)
Enjoy your delicious Crispy Chicken, perfect for any meal!
