Martabak Tahu Tongkol Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 package of spring roll wrappers (20 pieces)
  • 7 pieces of medium-sized firm tofu
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Salt, sugar, and seasoning to taste
  • 3 pieces of skipjack tuna (or tuna of your choice)
  • 3 stalks of green onions

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Filling:

    • Begin by mashing the tofu until it reaches a smooth, consistent texture.
    • Shred the skipjack tuna into small, bite-sized pieces.
    • Slice the green onions into thin rings.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed tofu, shredded tuna, and sliced green onions.

    • Carefully place the stuffed spring rolls into the hot oil, frying until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides.
    • Remove the cooked martabak from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
