Spicy Keto Beef Liver Soup

Ingredients:

  • 150 g beef liver, boiled and diced into small cubes
  • 100 g carrots, diced into small cubes
  • 1 stalk green onion, finely sliced
  • 200 ml hot water
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 onion, coarsely chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Flavor enhancer (optional), to taste
  • Oregano, to taste
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 150 ml heavy cream
  • 50 g grated cheese
  • 3 red bird’s eye chilies, finely sliced
  • Butter, for sautéing

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, melt a small amount of butter over medium heat. Add the finely chopped garlic and coarsely chopped onion, sautéing until aromatic and translucent.

  2. Add the diced beef liver and sliced bird’s eye chilies to the pan. Stir briefly to combine with the aromatics.

  3. Pour in the hot water, then add the diced carrots. Season with salt, flavor enhancer (if using), ground black pepper, and oregano. Allow the mixture to come to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until the carrots are tender.

  4. Stir in the heavy cream, then add the sliced green onion and grated cheese. Continue to cook until the edges of the soup start to bubble.

  5. Remove the pan from heat. Transfer the soup into bowls or a serving dish.
