Tahu and Beef Meatball Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 block of firm tofu, cut into cubes
  • 10 beef meatballs, sliced in half
  • 3 dried black mushrooms (soaked in hot water until rehydrated)
  • 1 stalk of green onion (sliced to your preferred length)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 carrots (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for sautéing)
  • 1 liter beef broth (or chicken broth as an alternative)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Broth: Bring the beef broth to a boil. Add the carrots and rehydrated black mushrooms. Cook until the carrots are tender.

  2. Add Tofu and Meatballs: Add the beef meatballs and tofu cubes to the broth. Season with salt to taste. Let the soup simmer until it reaches a rolling boil. Remove from heat.
