Beef Teriyaki Simple & Delicious
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of good quality beef, thinly sliced
- 7 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 3 onions, chopped
- 5 large green chilies (can be substituted with bell peppers), seeds removed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, crushed
- 5 tablespoons Teriyaki sauce, preferably Saori brand
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- Soy sauce, to taste (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Sugar, to taste
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in water
- 200 ml water (adjust according to desired sauce consistency)
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Prepare the Beef:
Thinly slice the beef into pieces about the size of your index finger or to your preference. -
Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, combine the Teriyaki sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sweet soy sauce. Add the beef slices, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. -
Sauté Aromatics:
Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and crushed ginger, sautéing until fragrant. -
Cook the Beef:
Add the marinated beef along with the marinade to the pan. Cook until the beef changes color. Then, add the water and cook until the beef is tender. -
Season:
Adjust the taste with salt and sugar. Stir well. -
Add Vegetables:
Once the beef is tender, add the green chilies and onions. Cook briefly to keep the vegetables fresh and crisp. -
Thicken the Sauce:
Stir in the cornstarch mixture to the pan, allowing the sauce to thicken. Once thickened, turn off the heat. -
Garnish and Serve:
Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired, and serve hot.
