Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

  • 500 grams boneless chicken breast fillets
  • 200 grams instant crispy flour mix
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

For the Egg Mixture:

  • 1 large egg
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

For the Spicy Garlic Sambal:

  • 1 red onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 bird’s eye chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Seasoning to taste

For Garnishing:

  • Grated quick-melt or mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Cucumber slices

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Cut the chicken breast fillets into pieces according to your preference.
    • Place the chicken pieces in a bowl. Season with salt and add the crushed garlic. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
    • Allow the chicken to marinate for 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  2. Prepare the Battering Station:

    • Set up two bowls. Place the instant crispy flour mix in one bowl.

  7. Assemble the Dish:

    • Toss the fried chicken pieces in the sambal paste, making sure each piece is well-coated.
    • Place the sambal-coated chicken on a serving plate.
    • Spoon the scrambled egg over the chicken.
    • Sprinkle with grated cheese on top of the eggs.
  8. Garnish and Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh basil leaves and cucumber slices around the plate.
