Ingredients:

  • 500 grams chicken (cut into pieces)
  • For the marinade:
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon Tropicana Slim sweet soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
    • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
    • 200 ml water
    • 1 tablespoon margarine (for grilling)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Begin by washing the chicken pieces thoroughly. Place them in a pot or bowl.
  2. Marinate the Chicken:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, Tropicana Slim sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, and water. Stir well to create a uniform marinade.
    • Pour the marinade over the chicken pieces, ensuring that each piece is well-coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more intense flavor.
  3. Simmer the Chicken:

    • Transfer the marinated chicken and marinade into a pot. Cook over medium heat until the liquid reduces and thickens slightly, and the chicken is cooked through. The sauce should be reduced to a glaze, and the chicken should be tender. This step helps infuse the flavors into the chicken.
  4. Grill the Chicken:

    • Heat a non-stick frying pan or griddle over low heat. Once hot, brush the surface lightly with margarine to prevent sticking.
