Crispy Fried Mushrooms with Egg
Ingredients:
- 250 grams oyster mushrooms
- 5 cloves garlic or 3 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 egg
- Salt, to taste
- Cooking oil
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Mushrooms:
- Tear the oyster mushrooms into bite-sized pieces according to your preference. Rinse them thoroughly under running water and drain well.
-
Prepare the Garlic Mixture:
- Crush the garlic cloves with a pinch of salt, or use garlic powder if preferred. You can use a mortar and pestle or a blender for this process. Add a little water to the mixture to create a marinade.
-
Marinate the Mushrooms:
- Combine the garlic mixture with the mushrooms. Let them marinate for about 15 to 30 minutes. Be cautious with the marinating time: if the garlic mixture is very salty, marinate for a shorter time; if it is not too salty, you can extend the marinating period up to 30 minutes.
-
Prepare for Frying:
- After marinating, drain the mushrooms to remove excess marinade. Crack the egg into a bowl and beat it. Coat each mushroom piece with the beaten egg.
-
Fry the Mushrooms:
- Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. For a crispier texture, cook the mushrooms until they are golden brown. If you prefer them less crispy, cook until they are a light golden color.
-
Serve:
- Remove the mushrooms from the pan and drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve warm as a delicious snack or side dish.
Enjoy your crispy fried mushrooms with egg—a savory treat that is sure to delight!
