Tahu Mercon Gurih

Ingredients

Chicken egg 1 piece
Garlic (finely minced) 2 cloves
Bird’s eye chili (finely chopped) 6 pieces
Green onion (sliced) 1 stalk
Chicken broth powder (like Royco or Masako) to taste
Salt and sugar to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tofu: Begin by placing the tofu in a mixing bowl and gently mash it until it reaches a smooth consistency.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the egg, minced garlic, chopped bird’s eye chili, sliced green onion, chicken broth powder, salt, and sugar to the mashed tofu. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Fry the Mixture: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, scoop the tofu mixture and carefully drop it into the oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  4. Drain and Serve: Once cooked, remove the tofu fritters from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Tahu Mercon Gurih!
