Tahu Sakura

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
10 pieces Tahu putih (tofu), mashed
1 medium Carrot, diced small
1 stalk Green onion, thinly sliced
12 pieces Boiled quail eggs, peeled
3 pieces Eggs
Spices
5 cloves Garlic, minced
3 shallots Minced
1/2 sachet Ladaku seasoning
1/2 tablespoon Granulated sugar
1 sachet Masako seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed tofu, diced carrot, sliced green onion, 1 egg, and minced spices. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Prepare a mold by lightly greasing it with cooking oil to prevent sticking.

  3. Place the boiled quail eggs in the bottom of the mold, then pour the tofu mixture over the eggs, filling the mold completely. Repeat until all mixture is used.

  4. Steam the filled mold for about 15 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the steamer and let cool before gently releasing the tofu from the mold.

  5. In a separate bowl, beat the remaining 2 eggs. Dip each tofu piece into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are well coated, and then fry in hot oil until golden brown.

  6. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.

  7. Serve the Tahu Sakura as a delightful snack alongside hot chocolatos or as a menu item for gatherings.

Enjoy your Tahu Sakura, a perfect blend of flavors and textures!
