Ayam Tahu Tempe Goreng Bumbu Kuning ala JOSHE

Ingredients

Chicken thighs (small) 6 pieces
Tofu 10 cubes
Tempe 2 blocks (cut into 8)
Spice Blend
Garlic 6 cloves
Turmeric 2 pieces
Ginger 1 cm
Galangal 1 cm
Additional Seasoning
Lemongrass 1 stalk
Bay leaves 3 leaves
Kaffir lime leaves 5 leaves
Salt to taste
Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Clean and Prepare: Rinse the chicken thighs thoroughly. In a pot, blend the garlic, turmeric, ginger, and galangal to create a smooth spice paste. Coat the chicken thighs with this mixture and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

  2. Simmer the Chicken: Add enough water to cover the chicken and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, add the lemongrass, bay leaves, and kaffir lime leaves. Simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
