This simple, nutritious recipe of Buttered Peas Puree is perfect for babies starting solids from 6 months onwards. Ingredients:
- 1 cup Green peas (Matar)
- 1/2 tablespoon Unsalted butter
- A pinch of Salt

Instructions:
- Start by pressure cooking 1 cup of fresh green peas with 2 tablespoons of water and a pinch of salt for 2 whistles. Turn off the heat and release the pressure immediately by running cold water over the cooker.
- Drain any excess water from the peas.
- In a pan, melt 1/2 tablespoon of unsalted butter over low heat.
- Once the butter melts, add the cooked peas to the pan and sauté them for about 2 minutes until they are well-coated with the butter.
- Turn off the flame and let the peas cool down.
- Once cooled, transfer the peas to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve the Buttered Peas Puree in a bowl, ready to feed your baby. This can be served as a lunch or an evening meal for babies 6 months and older.
