Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 cup Green peas (Matar)
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 Green chilies, finely chopped
- A small piece of Ginger
- 1/4 cup Coriander (Dhania) leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain (Carom seeds)
- 1/4 teaspoon Fennel seeds (Saunf), powdered
- 1/4 teaspoon Sesame seeds (Til seeds)
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chili powder
- A pinch of Garam masala powder
- Salt, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- Water, as required

Cook Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 2-3 servings
Instructions:
- Start by making a paste with the green peas, garlic, onion, ginger, coriander leaves, and a little water using a mixer or blender.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the gram flour (besan), the green pea paste, fennel seeds powder, sesame seeds, ajwain, salt, red chili powder, and garam masala powder. Mix thoroughly.
- Gradually add water as needed to form a smooth batter with a pancake-like consistency.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or tawa and grease it lightly with oil. Pour the batter onto the hot skillet and spread it out in a circular shape, similar to how you would make a dosa.
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the cheela and cook on medium heat until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove from the skillet and serve hot with Dhaniya Pudina Chutney or any chutney of your choice.
