Preparation Time: 0 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Instructions
-
Cook the Rice: Begin by boiling the brown rice and wild rice separately in a pressure cooker for about 5 whistles. Allow the pressure to release naturally. The wild rice will remain slightly crunchy. Strain both rice types and spread them on a tray to cool.
-
Prepare the Tofu: Heat a wok with a little oil and toast the tofu until it turns light brown. Add the tofu sauce ingredients (soy sauce, honey, red chilli sauce, and salt) to the tofu and coat it evenly. Set it aside.
-
Sauté the Vegetables: In the same wok, add ginger and sauté all the vegetables (bell pepper, onion, spring onion greens) until done. Add the soy sauce, green chilli sauce, red chilli sauce, and the cooked rice. Toss everything together.
-
Assemble the Dish: Transfer the stir-fried rice to a bowl and top with the honey-glazed tofu.
Serving Suggestion: Serve this crunchy, flavorful Stir Fried Brown Rice and Wild Rice topped with Honey-Glazed Tofu alongside a refreshing homemade pomegranate juice with ginger for a perfect meal.
