Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Spread pecans evenly in a 13 x 9 inch pan.

Bake pecans for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly toasted.

Remove the pan from the oven and add popcorn to the toasted pecans.

In a saucepan, melt margarine over medium heat. Stir in dark brown sugar until dissolved, creating a caramel-like mixture.

Pour the melted sugar and margarine mixture over the popcorn and pecans in the pan. Sprinkle salt over the mixture.

Using a spatula, gently toss the popcorn and pecans until evenly coated with the caramel mixture.
