Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup fine graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 cup baking chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set it aside.

  2. In a bowl, combine the almonds with flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking chocolate, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Ensure all the dry ingredients are well mixed.

  3. In another bowl, cream the butter with sugar until fluffy using a hand mixer or stand mixer.

  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until fully incorporated. Then, beat in the mashed bananas until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  5. Gradually add the almond-flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until everything is evenly combined.

  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  8. Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for a few minutes.

  9. Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing. This helps it set properly and makes slicing easier.

  10. Once cooled, slice the bread into thin slices.

  11. If desired, spread each slice with soft butter or cream cheese before serving.
