Instructions
To make the perfect Irish coffee, start by brewing the coffee using a moka pot. While the coffee is brewing, pour the fresh whipping cream into a bowl. Use an electric whisk or a manual hand whisk to beat the cream for about 3 minutes, just until it thickens slightly. Set the whipped cream aside for a moment.
Next, heat the glass you plan to use for the Irish coffee. Boil some water in a small pot and pour it into the glass to warm it. Once the glass is warmed, discard the water and add 25 ml of whiskey to it.
Then, pour 90g of the freshly brewed coffee into the glass, filling it up to about 4/5 of the way. Finally, carefully pour the lightly whipped cream over the back of a spoon, letting it float on top of the coffee mixture, creating the signature creamy top of the Irish Coffee.
Garnish with a small sprinkle of brown sugar to taste and serve immediately. Enjoy the warm, comforting flavors of this classic drink!
This recipe for Irish Coffee offers the perfect balance of warmth, creaminess, and a hint of whiskey, ideal for cozy evenings or as a treat for special occasions.
