Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Persimmons (peeled) 700g
Unsweetened cocoa powder 40g
Unsweetened cocoa powder To taste
Sliced almonds (for garnish) To taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Persimmons: Start by removing the stems from the persimmons and peeling them. Once peeled, chop the fruit into smaller pieces to help blend smoothly.

  2. Combine with Cocoa: In a large mixing bowl, add the chopped persimmons and unsweetened cocoa powder. Blend the mixture well until the cocoa is fully incorporated with the persimmons, creating a smooth, rich pudding base.

  3. Fill the Molds: Divide the mixture evenly into four individual molds or small ramekins. You should aim to pour about 140 grams of the persimmon-cocoa mixture into each mold.

  4. Set and Chill: Once the molds are filled, place them on a flat tray and refrigerate for at least a few hours, allowing the pudding to set and firm up.

  5. Decorate and Serve: Once the puddings are set, remove them from the fridge. Garnish each pudding with a light dusting of cocoa powder and a sprinkle of sliced almonds for a touch of texture and flavor.

  6. Enjoy: Your delicious cocoa persimmon puddings are now ready to serve, offering a beautifully creamy, rich dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor kick, you can add a bit of vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon to the persimmon-cocoa mixture.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, you can blend the persimmons into a puree before mixing them with the cocoa.
