Ingredients:
- 1 cup light mayonnaise ๐ฅ
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped ๐ฟ
- 1/2 cup fresh tarragon, chopped (or use tarragon wine vinegar in place of white vinegar and omit fresh tarragon) ๐ฟ
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup chives, chopped ๐ฑ
- 3 green onions, finely chopped ๐ง
- 3 tablespoons anchovy paste ๐
- 3 anchovies, finely chopped (optional, for extra depth) ๐
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar (or tarragon wine vinegar) ๐ถ
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice ๐
- 2 cloves garlic, minced ๐ง
Instructions:
-
Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix together the light mayonnaise, fresh parsley, fresh tarragon (if using), chopped chives, green onions, anchovy paste, anchovies (if using), white vinegar (or tarragon wine vinegar), lemon juice, and minced garlic. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined, creating a rich, green, herb-infused dressing.
-
Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the dressing to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. The chilling process allows the flavors to meld together and the dressing to thicken slightly, resulting in a more cohesive and robust taste.
This Green Goddess Salad Dressing is not only a perfect complement to your salads but also a versatile addition to various recipes. Its fresh herb flavors can elevate simple dishes and add a touch of sophistication to your culinary creations. Enjoy the delicious, creamy texture and vibrant taste! ๐ฝ๏ธ๐ฑ
