Title: Chicken Nuggets with Carrot and Green Onion
Ingredients:
- 1/4 pound chicken breast
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons tapioca flour
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 1 stalk green onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- Salt, to taste
- Chicken bouillon, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 100 ml water
- For coating:
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour mixed with a bit of water to form a thick batter
- Bread crumbs, as needed
Steps:
- In a blender, combine the chicken breast, garlic, and egg. Blend until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blended chicken mixture with the grated carrot, chopped green onion, and the remaining seasonings. Gradually add water until you achieve a smooth, cohesive batter. Season with salt, chicken bouillon, and black pepper to taste.
- Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly with butter. Pour the chicken mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly. Steam the mixture for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the steamer and allow it to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into nugget-sized pieces.
- Dip each nugget into the prepared flour batter, ensuring it’s well-coated, then roll in bread crumbs.
- Place the coated nuggets in the refrigerator to chill and set.
- When ready to cook, heat oil in a frying pan and fry the nuggets until golden brown and crispy.
