Crispy Fried Chicken in Simple Flour Coating
Ingredients:

- 500 grams chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- Chicken bouillon powder, to taste
- 1 egg
- Coating:
- 100 grams all-purpose flour
- 20 grams cornstarch
Instructions:
-
Begin by preparing the chicken. Cut the chicken breast into pieces according to your preference. For this recipe, I used whole chicken breasts because that’s what I had in the fridge.
-
In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with minced garlic, salt, ground black pepper, and chicken bouillon powder. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated with the seasoning.
-
Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. For better flavor, marinating overnight is recommended. I marinated mine overnight to fry in the morning.
-
Remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and add the egg. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated with the egg.
-
In another bowl, prepare the coating by mixing the all-purpose flour and cornstarch until well combined.
-
Roll each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring it is coated thoroughly. Gently press the coating onto the chicken to adhere.
-
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown and crispy.
-
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
-
Serve your crispy fried chicken hot and enjoy your delicious meal!
