Crispy Fried Chicken in Simple Flour Coating

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chicken bouillon powder, to taste
  • 1 egg
  • Coating:
    • 100 grams all-purpose flour
    • 20 grams cornstarch

Instructions:

  1. Begin by preparing the chicken. Cut the chicken breast into pieces according to your preference. For this recipe, I used whole chicken breasts because that’s what I had in the fridge.

  2. In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with minced garlic, salt, ground black pepper, and chicken bouillon powder. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated with the seasoning.

  3. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. For better flavor, marinating overnight is recommended. I marinated mine overnight to fry in the morning.

  4. Remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and add the egg. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated with the egg.

  5. In another bowl, prepare the coating by mixing the all-purpose flour and cornstarch until well combined.

  6. Roll each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring it is coated thoroughly. Gently press the coating onto the chicken to adhere.

  7. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown and crispy.

  8. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  9. Serve your crispy fried chicken hot and enjoy your delicious meal!

This recipe for Crispy Fried Chicken with a Simple Flour Coating is perfect for a quick and tasty meal. The crispy exterior and tender chicken inside make it a delightful dish for any occasion. Enjoy cooking and savoring this homemade treat!
