Crispy Ayam Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg chicken, cut into pieces
  • Coating Ingredients:
    • Egg whites
    • All-purpose flour
    • Rice flour
    • Salt
    • Garlic powder
  • Marinade Ingredients:
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Seasoning powder
    • Monosodium glutamate (MSG)
    • Grated garlic
    • A pinch of nutmeg powder
    • A pinch of turmeric
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Begin by thoroughly washing the chicken pieces and marinate them with the marinade ingredients. Allow it to marinate for about 30 minutes.

  2. Mix all-purpose flour and rice flour in a ratio of 2:1. Add salt and garlic powder to the flour mixture.

  3. Once the chicken has marinated, coat each piece with egg whites followed by the flour mixture. For a thicker crust, repeat the coating process (I recommend coating once).

  4. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan or pot. Fry the chicken in hot oil until they turn golden brown.

  5. Remove from oil and drain excess oil on paper towels.

  6. Serve the crispy ayam hot and enjoy its crunchy goodness!
