Tahu Aci Tegal Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 pieces white tofu, sliced diagonally
- 2 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons tapioca flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Salt, to taste
- Hot water, as needed
- Seasoning, to taste
- Oil, for frying
For the Spice Paste:
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds

In a bowl, combine the scraped tofu pieces with the all-purpose flour, tapioca flour, sliced green onions, seasoning, salt, and spice paste. Mix well, adding a little hot water as needed to achieve a workable consistency. -
Stuff the Tofu:
Fill each tofu slice with the prepared mixture. -
Coat and Fry:
Dip each stuffed tofu slice into the beaten egg, ensuring it is well-coated. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the tofu slices until golden brown and crispy. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. -
