Crispy Dori Nuggets
Ingredients:
- 200 grams Dori fish fillet
- 1 key lime (jeruk kunci)
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 3 tablespoons seasoned flour
- Breadcrumbs
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions:
- Rinse the Dori fish fillet and pat dry. Marinate with the juice of key lime for 15 minutes.
- Cut the marinated fish into pieces according to your preference.
- In a bowl, mix together salt, ground pepper, and ground coriander. Rub this mixture onto the fish pieces.
- In another bowl, prepare a thin batter by mixing seasoned flour with a little ice water until smooth.
- Dip each piece of fish into the batter, ensuring it is evenly coated, then roll it in breadcrumbs until fully covered.
- Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the fish pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Remove the nuggets from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve hot with spicy sambal sauce or sambal geprek on the side for dipping.
