Otak-Otak Bandeng Goreng Telor: A Crispy Fish Cake Delight

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of otak-otak bandeng (Indonesian mackerel fish cake)
  • 1 egg
  • Seasoning (Masako or other seasoning as needed)
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Otak-Otak: Begin by slicing the otak-otak bandeng, which should already be removed from its banana leaf wrapping.

  2. Season the Egg: Crack the egg into a mixing bowl. Beat it well, then add the Masako seasoning or your preferred seasoning to taste, and mix thoroughly to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.

  3. Coat the Fish Cake: Dip each piece of otak-otak bandeng into the seasoned egg mixture, making sure it is well-coated.
