Tahu Fantasi: A Delicious Indonesian Treat

Ingredients:

Corn Vermicelli 2 sheets
Tofu 4 pieces
Carrot (shredded) 1 medium
Eggs 2
Celery Leaves To taste
Spices for Vermicelli:
Green Onion (sliced) 1 stalk
Garlic 3 cloves
Shallots 5 pieces
Black Pepper A pinch
Royco Seasoning To taste
Salt To taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by finely blending the garlic, shallots, and black pepper to create a fragrant spice mixture.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the blended spices until aromatic. Then, add the corn vermicelli along with the shredded carrot and chopped celery. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mash the tofu until smooth. Incorporate this into the vermicelli mixture, ensuring even distribution. Adjust the seasoning with salt and Royco to taste.
  4. Lightly grease a round mold or a cake pan, then pour the mixture in, smoothing the top.
  5. Steam the mixture for about 20 minutes. Allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes before carefully removing it from the mold. Slice into portions.
  6. Dip each piece into beaten eggs, then fry in hot oil until golden brown.
