Title: Crispy Tempe Sticks Ala Eghi Alexyer

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Tempe (cut into sticks) 1 package
KFC-style seasoning flour 1 package
Royco seasoning powder 1 packet
Sweetened condensed milk 1 can
Garlic (crushed) 5 cloves
Water As needed
Vegetable oil (for frying) As needed

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tempe:

    • Cut the tempe into stick-shaped pieces.
    • Soak the tempe sticks in a bowl of water for 2-3 hours. Add the crushed garlic and Royco seasoning powder to the water. Mix and refrigerate.
  2. Prepare the Wet Dipping Batter:

    • In a separate bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, KFC-style seasoning flour, and enough water to create a smooth batter. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Dry Coating:

    • On a wide plate, spread out the remaining KFC-style seasoning flour for dipping.
  4. Fry the Tempe:

    • Heat a generous amount of vegetable oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, lower the heat to medium to avoid burning the tempe.
    • Take each tempe stick, dip it into the wet batter, then coat it with the dry flour mixture. Dip it again in the wet batter, then coat it once more with the dry flour.
    • Carefully fry the tempe sticks until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serving:

    • Once the tempe sticks are crispy and golden, drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve warm and enjoy!

This crispy tempe sticks recipe is easy to make and perfect for a snack or appetizer. The sweet and savory coating gives it a deliciously crispy texture, making it a favorite for all ages!
