Stir-fried Tempeh with Green Beans
Ingredients
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Tempeh | 2 blocks, cut into small cubes |
| Green beans | 10 sticks, cut into 2 cm pieces, rinsed thoroughly |
| Garlic cloves | 5 cloves, thinly sliced |
| Red chilies | 5 pieces, thinly sliced |
| Ginger | 1 cm piece, thinly sliced |
| Salt | To taste |
| Pepper | To taste |
| Soy sauce | 1 tablespoon, or as preferred |
| Oyster sauce (Saori brand suggested) | 1/2 tablespoon |
| Cooking oil | As needed for frying |
Instructions

Fry the Tempeh
- Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a pan. Add the tempeh cubes and fry them until they turn golden and crispy. Set aside. (I personally like mine a little extra crispy for added texture 😊)

Sauté the Aromatics
Related Articles- In the same pan, remove excess oil and leave a little for sautéing. Add the sliced garlic, ginger, and red chilies to the pan. Stir-fry until the mixture becomes fragrant and lightly golden.

Add Sauces and Seasonings
- Pour in the oyster sauce and soy sauce into the pan. Stir well to coat the aromatics evenly.

Stir-fry the Green Beans
- Toss in the cut green beans. Stir and cook for a few minutes until they are tender but still slightly crisp. Add salt and pepper to taste, adjusting to your preference. Remember to taste as you go!

Combine with Tempeh
- Lastly, add the fried tempeh back into the pan. Stir everything together until the tempeh and green beans are evenly coated with the sauce and seasonings.
