Tahu Telor with Peanut Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 3 pieces of firm tofu, diced
- 1 scallion, finely sliced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- Bean sprouts, soaked in hot water
- Cooking oil
- Salt, to taste
For the Peanut Sauce:

- 100 grams of peanuts (roasted or toasted, can use walnuts as a substitute)
- 5 red chili peppers, briefly fried
- 2 cloves of garlic, briefly fried
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Salt, to taste
- Water, as needed
For Garnishing:
- Fried shallots
- Sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)

- In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and the sliced scallion.
- Gently fold in the diced tofu, mixing until well combined.
- Heat a generous amount of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg and tofu mixture, cooking until the eggs are fully set and lightly golden. Remove from the pan and set aside.
