Instructions

  1. Prepare Puff Pastry: Cut the puff pastry into squares measuring 10×10 cm or to your desired size, then set aside.

  2. Sauté Aromatics: In a skillet, sauté the minced garlic and chopped onion until they are soft and translucent.

  3. Combine Filling: Add the drained tuna to the skillet, seasoning with salt, sugar, and pepper. Adjust the seasoning to your taste, then let the mixture cool.

  4. Mix Tuna Filling: In a bowl, combine the cooled tuna mixture with mayonnaise and chopped hard-boiled egg, stirring until well combined.

  5. Assemble Pastries: Take a puff pastry square and brush the edges with egg white to help seal. Place a spoonful of the tuna mixture in the center, fold the pastry over, and press the edges with a fork to seal.

  6. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).

  7. Brush and Bake: Brush the tops of the pastries with egg yolk for a shiny finish. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown, adjusting the baking time according to your oven.
