Black & White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Description:
This is a very decadent, rich chocolate cookie! They are addictive, so watch out 🙂 They are easy and quick to make. They were one of my favorite cookies when I was a kid.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a baking sheet.

Cream together butter/margarine, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt until light and fluffy.

Beat in cocoa powder until well combined.

Dissolve baking soda in water and mix into the batter.

Stir in flour until just combined, then fold in white chocolate chips.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

Bake in the preheated oven for 14 to 16 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
