Simple Beef Bakso Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams beef (blended)
  • 1 packet of ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 shallots
  • 4 tablespoons flour (more if needed)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 packet of beef-flavored seasoning
  • For garnish:
    • Fried shallots
    • Fresh cilantro
    • Lime wedges

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Meat Mixture:

    • Blend the beef until it reaches a fine texture.
    • Add the ground black pepper, garlic, shallots, flour, salt, and beef-flavored seasoning to the blender.
    • Blend the mixture again until all ingredients are well combined. If the mixture is too thick, add a small amount of water to reach a smoother consistency.
  2. Shape the Meatballs:

    • With your hands, take small portions of the mixture and form into balls. Gently press and roll them to create evenly shaped meatballs.
  3. Cook the Meatballs:

    • Bring a pot of water to a boil.
    • Carefully drop the meatballs into the boiling water.
    • Cook until the meatballs float and are fully cooked through.
  4. Serve:

    • Garnish with fried shallots, fresh cilantro, and lime wedges for added flavor.
    • Enjoy your homemade beef bakso!
