125g Margarine
1 can Sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp Vanilla essence

Instructions:

  1. Begin by preparing a 10-inch plastic dish, and evenly spread the caster sugar across its surface.

  2. Next, thinly slice the margarine and distribute it along the outer edge of the sugar layer.

  3. Carefully pour the sweetened condensed milk over the sugar and margarine, ensuring even coverage.

  4. Place the dish in the microwave and cook on High for 2 minutes.

  5. After 2 minutes, remove the dish from the microwave and stir the mixture thoroughly to blend all the ingredients.

  6. Return the dish to the microwave and cook for an additional 3 and a half minutes on High, followed by 1 and a half minutes on Medium power.

  7. Stir the mixture well to ensure it cooks evenly, then return it to the microwave for another 2 minutes on High, followed by 1 and a half minutes on Medium, and finally 1 minute on High.

  8. Allow the mixture to cook for 5 more minutes on Medium power. During this time, you’ll notice it boiling up and collapsing repeatedly, with each cycle becoming less intense as it thickens.
