Fiery Teriyaki Beef Stir-Fry

Spicy Beef Teriyaki

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced lengthwise
  • 8 green bird’s eye chilies, sliced diagonally
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cm ginger, smashed
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 4 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 200 ml water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar

Instructions:

  1. Sauté Aromatics: Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, smashed ginger, and sliced chilies. Sauté until the mixture becomes fragrant and the onions turn translucent.

  2. Cook the Beef: Add the thinly sliced beef to the pan. Stir-fry until the beef is browned and no longer pink.

  3. Add Sauces and Seasonings: Pour in the teriyaki sauce, ground black pepper, and granulated sugar. Stir well to ensure the beef is evenly coated with the sauce and seasonings.

  4. Simmer: Pour in the water and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer until the liquid has reduced and the flavors have melded, ensuring the beef absorbs the sauce.

  5. Serve: Once the sauce has thickened and the beef is tender, remove from heat. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles, garnished as desired. Enjoy the vibrant and spicy flavors of this classic beef teriyaki dish.
