Ingredients:

  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds round steak
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions:

1 Cut the round steak into four equal pieces.
2 On a plate, combine salt, pepper, marjoram, and flour.
3 Dredge each piece of steak in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
4 Pound the flour mixture into the steaks until they are approximately double in diameter and about 1/4 inch thick.
