Indonesian Catfish in Turmeric Broth

Ingredients:

  • 2 catfish (cleaned and cut into pieces)
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 candlenuts
  • 1/2 tomato (chopped)
  • Spring onions (for garnish)
  • Fried shallots (for garnish)
  • Cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Catfish: Season the catfish pieces with salt. In a pan, heat cooking oil over medium heat and fry the catfish until golden brown. Set aside.
