Bottle Gourd (Lauki) 1 cup, peeled and grated
Cucumber (Kakdi) 1, peeled and grated
Green Chili 1, finely chopped
Fresh Coriander (Hari Dhania) A handful, finely chopped
Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder) 1/2 tsp
Salt To taste

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Begin by preparing all the ingredients. Peel and grate the bottle gourd and cucumber.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated bottle gourd, cucumber, and yogurt. Add the finely chopped green chili, fresh coriander, cumin powder, and salt to taste.
  3. Mix all the ingredients well until they are thoroughly combined.
  4. Your Lauki Raita is now ready! Serve it chilled as a side dish with your favorite meal, such as dal, Lauki ki Sabzi, and soft phulkas (Indian flatbread).
